       Diveagar is one of the most scenic beaches located on western coast of India. It is just 4 hours of journey from Pune or Mumbai and you will get to beach which is preserved in its natural form. How to get their ?

Your own car will help you to reduce travelling cost and you can stop in between to enjoy hills and waters around. Even from Pune or Mumbai, roads are well maintained and full of picturesque geographical features like hills, plateaus, plains, waterfalls etc. While travelling from Pune, you can opt to go via Tamhini ghat road.





              Crossing mighty Sanhyadris and view of mountains around, while passing through ghat section will be your memorable experience.
  • You can take direct bus from Swargate to Diveagar. Since direct buses are limited, you can go from Sargate(Pune) to Mangaon, from Mangaon you can get further buses to Diveagar. 
  • Pune to Diveagar is 160 km, Mumbai to Diveagar is 180 km.

Best time to visit Diveagar
      Best season to visit Diveagar is in winters. From November to December you can experience maritime influence which reduced effect of chilly winters. Except for new year, cost of hotels and resort would be very low. 

      Next best season is early monsoon, in the month of july or august. Specially, if you want to enjoy rainy season of coastal area and see the way of live in high rainfall areas, August would be the time to visit.

      At-least 3 days and 2 night stay at Diveagar will give real touch of the beauty, best for solo traveller or if you are with family or you want to spend some time in tranquillity. 

Accommodation
      There are many hotels which offer excellent accommodation facilities. Rates may vary depending upon the season. You can also stay in local houses offered by residents of Diveagar. You can easily get a bungalow at around 800  to 1000  rupees for a night where 6 to 8 people can be accommodated. During peak season this rate can increase upto RS 2000  per night. 
      Foreign travelers should be assured of their safety. Infact maharashtra is the most developed state in India and has best safety record. 


Foodies 

      Satyam Patil Khanawal (restaurant) is the most famous restaurant, which serves food at reasonable cost and maintains traditional kokani taste. Know more at Satyam Patil Khanawal
Surmai, Pomplet, Kolambi are the most preferred dishes in konkan belt.
